Iran official departs for Yemen

TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Mohammadreza Baqeri Monday left here for the Yemeni capital of Sana’a.
Baqeri is conveying a reply by the Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad to a message by Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih. In his message, Ahmadinejad has stressed Tehran’s resolve to promote ties with Sana’a, an informed source with Iran's Foreign Ministry told IRNA. The Iranian official is expected to exchange views with senior Yemeni officials on ways to boost bilateral ties and most pressing regional and international developments
