TEHRAN – Presidential candidate Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has promised that he will launch a ministry he calls the “ministry of foreign affairs and international trade” if he wins the May 19 election.
“The current Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been formed in a way that it only serves political and security needs, not allowing it to pursue our key preoccupation with a booming economy,” Qalibaf said on Tuesday, Mehr reported.
International markets have to be found for agricultural and industrial products as well as services.
