What’s in Tehran art galleries

* Paintings by Roya Najafzadeh are on display in an exhibition entitled “Sensational” at Daargoun Gallery.

The exhibit will continue until May 9 at the gallery located at 14 Bashardoost Dead End, Kusha St. off Shariati Ave.


Illustration

* Emad Seyyedena is showcasing a collection of his latest illustrations in an exhibition at Shalman Gallery.

The exhibit titled “You Tell My Tale” will run until May 9 at the gallery that can be found at 27 Kavusi Alley, West Rudbar St., off Mirdamad Blvd.


Photo-collage

* An exhibition of photo-collages by Mohsen Ehteshami is currently underway at Afrand Gallery. 

Ehteshami has used a number of Iranian historical photos to create the collection for the exhibit, which will run until May 18 at the gallery located at 48 Jalal Hosseini St., Jahan Ara St., off Jalal Ale-Ahmad Highway.

* Arte Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of photographs by Zohreh Solati.

The exhibit entitled “Self-Finding” will continue until May 13 at the gallery that can be found at No. 3, 2nd St. off Golestan St., off Alikhani Blvd.


Sculpture

* A collection of sculptures made of scrap materials by Mehdi Sahabi is on display in an exhibition at Atbin Gallery.

The collection titled “Lovely Scraps” will run until May 15 at the gallery located at 42 Khakzad Alley, Vali-e Asr Ave near the Parkway Intersection. 


Drawing

Haft-Samar Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of drawings by a group of artists, including Parastu Maqsud, Zohreh Abbasian, Sara Saberi, Mahdieh Sohrabi, Amin Aqai and Sadeq Adhami.

The exhibit will run until May 9 at the gallery located at No. 8, Fifth Alley, Kuh-e Nur St., Motahari Ave.
