TEHRAN – A book containing the demands of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, which is known as the Sacred Defense in Iran, has recently been published.

Entitled “Guiding Principles: Demands of the Leader in Sacred Defense”, the book has been compiled by Hassan Alai-Fa’all and published by the Sacred Defense Research Center and Archives.

The book has previously been approved by the Leader’s office, Alai-Fa’all said in a press release published by the center on Wednesday.

The material for the book has been accumulated from the speeches the Leader made before 2017, he added.

The book also contains the Leader’s exceptional analyses on the eruption of the war, its continuation and end, he noted.

Alai-Fa’all called the book a road map for scholars, researchers, writers and managers, and said, “They can promote the culture of the Sacred Defense based on the Leader’s demands.”
