TEHRAN Iran's Court of Administrative Justice has rejected the ruling issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance requiring the periodicals to cite their circulation.
The Court of Administrative Justice, headed by Qorban-Ali Dorri-Najafabadi, announced in a statement that "the ruling issued by the Culture Ministry regarding the circulation of publications is illegal, as it has no legal basis." The Iranian print media strongly criticized the ruling, arguing that imposing such conditions on the print media is only motivated by factional leanings and is harmful to healthy press activities.
