TEHRAN – Iran defeated Tajikistan 8-1 on Saturday to win the CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship 2026.

The Iranian women had previously defeated Kyrgyzstan 5-0 in their opening match.

The team is headed by Shahrzad Mozafar.

Maral Torkan of Iran was named as Most Valuable Player. Iran’s women’s futsal team also won Fair Play Award.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan finished in second and third place, respectively.

The 2026 CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship is taking place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
