KUWAIT The basketball team of host country, Kuwait, Saturday defeated the representative of Iran in their third clash during the 2nd West Asian Games.

Kuwait beat the Iranian side 69-66, reported IRNA.

In its first fight, Iran was beaten by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 68-65 but overcame Qatar 88-76 in the second match.

Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Syria and Iran have participated in the basketball competitions of the 2nd West Asian Games.
