BERLIN -- An Iran Air airliner landed here Monday, to resume its once a week nonstop service to Berlin, according to IRNA.
The Iran Air passenger plane arrived at Berlin Tegel Airport at 6:30 A.M. and returned at 8:30 A.M. for Tehran.
An airline official reiterated to IRNA that due to popular demand, Iran Air will fly to the German capital every Monday.
He added that the new schedule is only on a provisional basis until September 16 but could be extended after that time.
Iran Air canceled its trips to Berlin last October, citing the global impact of the September 11 terror attacks in the U.S. The Iranian Airline also added nonstop flights to Hamburg and Frankfurt, increasing its current weekly flights to two and five respectively.
