Daesh Terror in Afghanistan: A Divide-and-Conquer Operation?

TEHRAN - On Friday, October 15, more than thirty people were killed in a terrorist bombing of the Bibi Fatima Mosque in Kandahar, Afghanistan. A week earlier, on October 8, a terrorist bomb devastated the Sayed Abad Mosque in Kunduz, killing dozens of people and wounding more than 150. The previous Monday, at least seven people died in the bombing of the Eidgah Mosque in Kabul during the funeral service for the mother of Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid. All three attacks were claimed by Daesh.

Ordinary Arab people will never permanently accept Arab–Israeli normalization

West Asia is currently bogged down in an apparent stalemate between the Zionist-imperialist aggressors and the forces of resistance. Neither side has been able to score a clear victory and eliminate or subjugate the other. The Zionists have not been able to erase the Palestinian question, nor have they succeeded in their efforts to neutralize the Axis of Resistance. So the fires are smoldering, and could blaze up into flames at any time.

General Qassem Soleimani: Iconic martyr of the century

“Due to his legendary courage, General Soleimani was loved and admired by nearly everyone, including many of his enemies”

TEHRAN- The previous century (20th c.e., 14th h.) featured innumerable martyrs. But only a few of their names have been chiseled prominently into the tablets of world history. Mahatma Gandhi, John and Robert Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Sayyid Qutb were all murdered for standing up against evil. None were saints, much less prophets or imams. All led imperfect lives and had personal as well as intellectual flaws. Yet each became emblematic of a different facet of the struggle for God and the good against the forces of Satan that dominate the so-called modern world.

9/11 and death of the American dream

Sometimes comedians can get a laugh just by telling the truth. George Carlin was good at that. One of his most famous quotes is: “That's why they call it the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.”

Kevin Barret says “the status quo is not peace, it is war”

UN privileges status quo over both peace and justice, American scholar says

TEHRAN - Kevin Barret, an American Arabist-Islamologist scholar who has been known as one of America's best-known critics of the war on terror, says the United Nations cannot be considered as “a genuinely democratic international organization”, arguing it has instead been as an “instrument of American and Western soft power”.
