Mountaineer Mohammad Oraz Passes Away

Tehran (Mehr News Agency) The renowned Iranian mountaineer Mohammad Oraz died this morning after twenty days of unconsciousness.
According to the Mehr News Agency, Mohammad Oraz, superb conqueror of mountains, died after twenty-day indefatigable efforts of the medical team of Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad.
All during his life, he endeavored to encourage mountain-climbing and hoist the flag of the Islamic republic over the highest peaks of the world. He eventually suffered a tragic end.
Oraz, 33, was struggling to conquer 14 peaks at over 8000m altitude, thereby bringing more honors to the Iranian nation.
While climbing a 8067m high mountain with the rest of the national team, they met avalanche and Oraz fell down and died after 21 days.
