Iran Ranks Third in Asian Bodybuilding Event

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran finished third in the Asian Bodybuilding Championships ended in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Friday.

Bahrain snatched the top title and the host Kazakhstan finished runner-up.

Eighteen teams comprising 140 bodybuilders participated in the Asian meet.

The eight-member Iran won one gold, one silver, two fourth, and two fifth titles. Results of the Iranian team come below: 65kg: Siamak Mo'ammar (silver) 65kg: Mohammad Dadash Sardari (fifth title) 70kg: Saman Sarabi (gold) 80kg: Majid Daniali (no title) 85kg: Mohsen Abbaspour (fourth title) 85kg: Shahin Aeinpour (fifth title) +90kg: Mohammad Nassiri (fourth title) +90kg: Hamed Moravvej (no title)
