TEHRAN -- A teach yourself Persian grammar book for Greek speakers was published by the office of the Iranian cultural attaché counsel in Athens.

There was a great need for a book like “Persian Grammar in Greek” since many Greek people are extremely interested in learning the Persian language, Iranian cultural attaché Mohammadreza Darbandi said on Friday.

He added that the intention of Greek Persian language learners is to be able to fully apprehend the beauty of Persian literature, enjoy reciting Persian poems and literary passages and to become better acquainted with the ancient oriental world.
