Vienna hopes Iran-IAEA talks will be fruitful

VIENNA (IRNA) -- An Austrian Foreign Ministry official, here on Wednesday expressed hope that the ongoing Iran-IAEA talks would achieve positive outcome.

In a meeting with members of Iran-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group, Austrian Secretary-General for Foreign Affairs, Johannes Kyrle, expressed hope that the meeting between Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, and the EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, would be fruitful.
Underlining the need for continued cultural dialogue between Iran and Austria, he called for Iran's cooperation regarding the release of an Austrian national abducted in Iraq.
For his part, Mohammad-Baqer Bahrami, Iranian chairman of Iran-Austria Friendship Group, briefed the Austrian side on the latest developments in Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.
He added that the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program has been confirmed by all technical observers and even the opposition.
Bahrami further voiced Iran's readiness to help in securing the release the Austrian national held in Iraq.
