TEHRAN – A member of the board of directors of the Ports and Maritime Organization announced on Saturday that Arvandrud and Astara have been added to the list of ports to be privatized.

Alireza Satei told the Mehr News Agency that after eligible investors have been identified, the qualified entities will be introduced during Government Week (August 23-30).
Economic factors will be taken into consideration to determine which ports should be given priority in the privatization plan, he added
