ANKARA (IRNA) – Iran’s ambassador to Turkey said on Wednesday that all four Iranian presidential candidates are keen on developing ties with Turkey.

Commenting on the tenth presidential elections in Iran, Bahman Hosseinpour added that all of them hold positive attitude towards Turkey and if elected, any of them will help promote bilateral relations.
Stating that Iran-Turkey ties are growing, Hosseinpiur noted that they will never see a downwards trend.
There are numerous capacities for cooperation between the two countries, he said, underlining that they should be identified and used in line with broadening ties.
Describing the Turkish people’s welfare and happiness as those of Iranians, he added that the two nations like each other.
Turning to the trend of elections in Iran, the envoy said that presidential hopefuls are campaigning freely and their face to face criticism reveals that true democracy prevails in the country.
He also announced that Iran’s Embassy is ready to help Turkish media cover news on the elections.
