Majlis approves Iran-Qatar cooperation agreement

TEHRAN -- Majlis on Wednesday passed a bill which allows Tehran to implement a joint security cooperation agreement with Doha.

The eleven-article agreement requires both countries to cooperate to counter terrorist activities.
The two countries also undertook to take necessary measures to stop smuggling of goods.
According to the agreement, Iran and Qatar will have to form a workshop comprising representatives from both countries, which will hold a meeting once a year in each country alternately
