TEHRAN Kuwait's top law maker Ahmad Al-Sadoun is due to arrive here at the head of a 24-member Kuwaiti delegation, an informed source said yesterday. The source, a Kuwaiti diplomat here said, Mr. Al-Sadoun is coming here for a three-day visit at the invitation of Majlis Speaker Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri. A total of eight senior members of Kuwaiti parliament will accompany Al-Sadoun as well as senior government officials, he said.

He voiced his satisfaction with the way in which Irano-Kuwaiti ties are growing in all known areas of bilateral cooperation. The exchange of high-level delegations is one of the reasons for the rapid growth of Irano-Kuwait ties, he added. Nateq-Nouri visited Kuwait in 1995 and Al-Sadoun visited Iran in 1996. During their forthcoming meeting, Nateq-Nouri and Al-Sadoun are expected to exchange views on making the Islamic Parliamentary Conference and the Inter-Parliament- ary Union more effective.

The members of the Kuwaiti delegation will also meet several Iranian government officials during their stay here.
