TEHRAN – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has advised the parliament and administration to adopt common approach toward issues facing the country.

“In some periods, there was a misconception that the Majlis and administration should adopt different approaches… while problems can be resolved through the adoption of a common approach by the Majlis and administration,” the Leader said in a meeting with the members of the Majlis Agriculture, Water, and Natural Resources Committee on Monday.
“Parliament’s ratifications, as the law, are certainly supported by the Leadership and the law should be implemented, but the Majlis should take administrations’ needs into consideration before passing a law,” he stated.
Ayatollah Khamenei also highlighted the importance of the agricultural sector, saying the problems facing this sector can be overcome through interaction and cooperation between the Majlis and government.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader pointed to the subsidy reform plan and said that the implementation of this plan was a great and brave work which should not be downplayed by magnifying some minor problems.
