Greek exhibition displaying Iranian artworks
TEHRAN – A collection of Persian calligraphy works and embroideries was put on display in an exhibition, which opened at the municipality of Filothei-Psychiko, a northeastern suburb of Athens, Greece on Monday.The exhibition organized with the help of the Iranian Cultural Center in Athens will come to an end on April 26.
Tehran museum to showcase works by French, Australian graphic designers
TEHRAN – The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art will display works by graphic designers Rudie Baur from France and Ken Cato from Australia in separate exhibitions during the Tehran Graphic Design Week, which will open on April 27.
The organizers of the event have also invited the artists to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibitions.
Iranian blues band to perform in Tehran
TEHRAN – An Iranian blues band led by guitarist Nima Zahirnia will give a concert at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center on Saturday.
Pieces by well-known blues musicians such as British singer Eric Clapton will be performed during the concert.
