Oman Wants to Benefit From Iran's Energy Experience

ABU DHABI The Omani Minister of Electricity and Water Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali al-Qatabi Wednesday in Muscat expressed hope that during his visit to Tehran he will become familiar with Iran's valuable experience in the area of constructing power plants. He made the remark in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Oman Nematollah Izadi on the threshold of his visit to Tehran. The Omani minister, heading a delegation, is due to arrive in Tehran on Saturday at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Habibollah Bitaraf. Muscat attaches great importance to its relations, particularly in the area of economy, with Tehran, Al-Qatabi said adding that exchange of visits between the two countries' officials will lead to further expansion of Iran-Oman relations.
