French orchestra to perform in Tehran

TEHRAN – The Alliance Orchestra under the baton of Iranian-born French maestro Pejman Memarzadeh will perform at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on April 20. 


Pieces by Bach, Gioacchino Rossini, Pablo de Sarasate, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Beethoven will be performed at the concert.

 

The orchestra is also scheduled to give performances in the Iranian cities of Isfahan, Kerman and Shiraz.

 

Also a cellist, Memarzadeh founded the Alliance Orchestra in 1995 in order to strengthen relations between the East and West.
