Iranian athletes win three golds in Asian Indoor

Three Iranian athletes claimed gold medals at the fifth Asian Indoor Athletics Championships at Hangzhou, China. 
 
Reza Ghasemi won the gold in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.68 seconds on Sunday.  
 
Maryam Tousi clinched gold medal in women’s 400-meter dash, clocking 53.85 seconds. She also qualified for The 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics, which will be held in Istanbul from March 9 to 11. 
 
Reza Bouazar won the gold in the 400 meters event with a time of 48.04 seconds. 
 
Iranian woman shot putter Leila Rajabi claimed a silver medal in the first day with a throw of 17.50 meters. 
 
Hassan Heidarpour seized the bronze in 60 meters with a time of 6.78 seconds. Amin Ghelichi also won the bronze in the 400-meter event with a time of 48.64 seconds. 
 
Sepideh Tavakkoli claimed the bronze medal in Pentathlon.
 
Iran took part in the competitions with 14 athletes.
