Legal concerts cannot get canceled: Nobakht

TEHRAN – Iran’s government spokesman reaffirmed on Tuesday that concerts that comply with the country’s rules and regulations cannot be closed.
Talking in a weekly press conference, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said that officials have to act rationally and handle two things simultaneously: Support our artists on one hand, and on the other not to be oblivious to religious scholars.”
Nobakht said that he expects right and wise decisions are made in other areas and government decisions get executed.
Reacting to German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Simar Gabriel’s statement on Iran, Nobakth said Iran won’t accept any precondition in its international relations from other countries.
He added Iran also sets no precondition for other countries except “respect for our country, nation, and law.”
Gabriel had told online weekly magazine Der Spiegel on Friday that Iran could have normal and friendly relations with Germany “only when it accepted Israel's right to exist.”
Nobakht referred to his face-to-face meeting with Gabriel in which he inquired about Gabriel’s statement.
“My statement has been skewed,” Nobakht recalled Gabriel as saying in the meeting.
Nobakht also said Gabriel admitted that “Israeli government is violating human rights.”
Citing from Gabriel, Nobakht said the German economy minister was attacked by some Zionist associations for opening talks with Iran following the adoption of the JCPOA, the official for the nuclear deal between Iran and great powers.
Almost immediately after the conclusion of the nuclear deal, the German government sent Gabriel to Tehran at the head of a major delegation to discuss post-sanctions business opportunities in Iran.
On Iran’s international policy, the official called Israel a fake regime which have blood of Palestinians on its hands.
“Israel is a criminal regime, perpetrator of terrorism which has assassinated many of the Palestinians leaders,” government spokesman asserted.
