TEHRAN – Seyyed Hadi Khamenei, brother of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Tuesday voiced his support for Hassan Rouhani as presidential candidate.

“I would like to ask all to vote for Mr. Rouhani for the country to thrive and have peace and for Iranians to be proud,” he said in an announcement, the Iran Students News Agency reported.

“This time negligence will have much greater consequences,” he said, adding, “We should dispel adventurism and lack of plan and ethics.”
