TEHRAN- Despite the expressed concerns about a probable rampant inflation and high volume of liquidity in the country, the two indices are presently kept under control, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced after his meeting with the cabinet on Wednesday, IRNA reported.

“The government intends to control the process incrementally and we are moving towards economic stability”, Abdol-Naser Hemmati told the reporters.

According to him, the year-on-year growth of liquidity growth in the first nine month of the present Iranian calendar year (ending December 21, 2018) stood at 1.5 percent, which he mentioned not a remarkable rate.
