Iranian consul general visits Turkey’s Van

TEHRAN – Iran’s consul general in Turkey’s Erzurum visited Van Province to discuss issues related to providing services to Iranian tourists during Norouz holidays with local officials.

At separate meetings on Friday, Sadjad Soltanzadeh met with a number of local officials in the province, including Van's governor, Saray District governor, director of Kapikoy Customs, and Iranian people residing in the province, IRNA reported.

The consul general also discussed issues related to services to Iranian tourists with officials of Van.

Iranian tourists constitute a major part of Van visitors, particularly during the two-week holidays of Norouz (beginning on March 21).
