TEHRAN – Head of Iran judo federation Arash Miresmaeli has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.

Miresmaeili was rushed to the hospital following the heart attack.

He has been under pressure over the past years due to Iran’s matter at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

CAS, on Monday, lifted the indefinite suspension imposed on the Iran Judo Federation.
