BMI chief emphasizes on using modern tools in offering financial services

The Chief Executive of Bank Melli Iran (BMI) stressed the need to take advantage of modern tools in line with offering the quality financial services in Kerman province.

In this regard, the head of Coordinating Council of banks of the country and Chief Executive of Bank Melli Iran (BMI), while attending the Coordinating Council of banks of Kerman province, was briefed on problems of banks of this province.

In addition to studying problems and barriers in the field of financing, Dr. Farzin CEO of Bank Melli Iran presented the necessary strategies for strengthening and developing banks of this province.

In this meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance (MEAF) Seyyed Ehsan Khandouzi, Mohammad Najafzadeh Deputy CEO of Bank Melli Iran for Marketing and Branches Affairs at District 2, Governor General of Kerman Province Mohammad Mehdi Fadakar, representative of people of Kerman and Ravar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), Dr. Farzin CEO of Bank Melli Iran said that investment projects and plans in Kerman province can be financed using the various capacities and diversified financial tools such as GAAM bonds, electronic draft and various types of Sukuks.

Turning to the problems facing pistachio growers, CEO of BMI said, “With the drastic measures taken, problems and barriers facing pistachio growers of this province will be solved.”

Supply chain services, which has been designed by Bank Melli Iran in the current year, can be the modern tools of financing used for the national projects and/or supplying the working capital of large industrial and production units, he added.

In this meeting, Dr. Farzin announced the preparedness of Bank Melli Iran for supporting and helping boom production, generation of employment and offering special services to the industrial and production units in this province.

Increasing wages and salaries, increasing capital of banks, competitiveness with the private bank and employing the competent manpower were of the other subjects discussed in this session.
