TEHRAN – “Events Management”, co-authored by Glenn Bowdin, Johnny Allen, William O’Toole, Rob Harris and Ian McDonnell has been published in Persian.
Hamshahri is the publisher of the book translated by Mehdi Ruzdar.
“Events Management” is the must-have introductory text providing a complete A to Z of the principles and practices of planning, managing and staging events.
The book introduces the concepts of event planning and management, and presents the study of events management within an academic environment.
It also discusses the key components for staging an event, covering the whole process from creation to evaluation, and examines the events industry within its broader business context, covering impacts and event tourism.
The study gives an effective guide for producers of events, and provides learning objectives and review questions to consolidate learning.
Each chapter features a real-life case study to illustrate key concepts and place theory in a practical context, as well as prepare students to tackle any challenges they may face in managing events.

William O'Toole is an international events development specialist. He assists councils, cities, regions, countries and companies to grow their events portfolio and create their long-term events program.
Rob Harris is the director of the Australian Centre for Event Management and a senior lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Ian McDonnell is a senior lecturer at the University of Technology.
