Average daily gasoline consumption reaches 115m liters

TEHRAN - Average daily gasoline consumption in Iran has reached about 115 million liters, the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said.

Pointing out that currently the fleet of light vehicles and motorcycles in the country consumes 115 million liters of gasoline per day, heavy vehicles consume 63 million liters of gasoil per day, and the country's power plants consume 70 million liters of gasoil per day, Jalili Salari said: “We must think about optimizing fuel consumption in the country.”
