The claim of the Wall Street Journal is not true

January 28, 2024 - 11:41

TEHRAN - In an article, Kayhan addressed the Wall Street Journal's claim that the American intelligence alerted Iran before the terrorist incident in Kerman and wrote: The false and unsubstantiated claim by the Wall Street Journal is while some American officials evaded from opining on this matter and dodged the journalists' questions in this regard.

In response to this Wall Street Journal claim, a security official said: "If there was a security message exchanged by the United States, it was intending to protect Washington from Iran's saber-rattling, especially after Israel's war in Gaza." Of course, Iran has rejected this claim. With this trick, America is trying to exonerate itself from involvement in the terrorist incident in Kerman. The terrorist operation in Kerman is naturally and logically attributed to the United States and Israel, considering the obvious support of the United States in the Gaza war and the prominent position of Iran in supporting the resistance forces. In the meantime, there is indisputable evidence of the intelligence and weapons presence of America and Israel in the establishment of ISIS.

Vatan-e-Emrooz: A conversation in the shadow of hot days in the region

In a commentary, Vatan-e-Emrooz discussed the president's visit to Ankara and the challenge of the Zangezur Corridor and wrote: Considering the tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Iran considers changing the geopolitics of the region by manipulating the borderline to be its red line, especially if such a such a plan is to be mixed with the seditiousness of the Mossad service and their presence in the borders of Iran. Most of the confrontation between Iran and Turkey in the Caucasus goes back to the macro trend of the corridor system, which will be an important measure for the power of the countries in the future prospect of the international structure. Iran is strongly opposed to a corridor that would completely block our country's border with Armenia. In addition, according to domestic experts, along with the border problem, such a corridor overshadows the east-west transit routes from Iran. Iran and Turkey definitely have serious competition for diversification in their corridor capacity, which is inevitable, but considering the security problem of the West Asia region and high-risk routes, multiple corridor plans with the simultaneous acting of the two countries seem more effective.

Iran: Media's propaganda at the peak of failure

In a note, the Iran newspaper addressed the new claim of American security warnings to Iran and said: The new claim of the American media should not be seen apart from the developments that are happening in the Middle East region and the process of Tel Aviv's war of attrition in Gaza. The fact is that America, within the framework of the common axis of cooperation with Tel Aviv, is equipping and supporting terrorist groups against influential actors in the region, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, but America claims that it has informed Iran about the plan of terrorist operations. This is nothing but deception in the playground of media or propaganda. Therefore, in the course of Israel's abortive war in Gaza, which has cost billions of dollars, the American authorities see no other way than to try to prevent further possible losses by sending alleged signals such as security cooperation with Iran about terrorist attacks so that they protect themselves from retaliatory and deterrence approaches of the Islamic Republic.

Siasat-e-Rooz: America's Struggle to escape punishment

In an analysis, Siasat-e-Rooz discussed the false claim of the Reuters news agency and said: Considering the crisis that America has faced in the region, they have started a new media propaganda. By publishing false news, the Reuters news agency claimed that Chinese officials have asked Iran to help restrain the Yemeni attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea. Earlier, the English newspaper Financial Times had claimed that the United States asked China to ask Tehran to convince Ansarullah to stop the attacks in the Red Sea. Iran has repeatedly stated that despite its friendly relations with Yemen's Ansarullah, it does not interfere in Yemeni decision-making, including their recent actions in attacking ships that carry cargo to the ports of the Zionist regime. It seems that after the failure of the American-British coalition, which, with numerous military attacks on the positions of the Yemeni army, intended to stop operations against ships going to the occupied territories. Now, the new scenario is to create a consensus against Yemen by creating media space, which is on the agenda of Washington.
