TEHRAN – Former Iran men’s sitting volleyball player Reza Gozali passed away on Monday.

He died at the age of 61.

Gozali was a member of the team who won gold medal in the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games.

He also won three gold medals in the 1985, 1986 and 1990 World Para Volleyball Championship.

Tehran Times extends its deepest sympathy to Gozali’s family, loved ones, and friends over his demise.
