TEHRAN – A fighter jet operated by the Air Force of the Iranian Army crashed during a training flight in the western central province of Hamadan on Thursday.

One of the pilots was killed during the accident, the Public Relations Office of the Air Force announced.

Based on the report, the other pilot succeeded to eject and is now in good health. An investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.
