Neolithic Skull Found in Iran

TEHRAN Iranian archaeologists have found a skull dating from the neolithic stone age in a region in the central Province of Qom, the state's Cultural Heritage Organization said Saturday.
Farzad Forouzanfar, an anthropologist with the CHO, said that the 6,300-year-old skull belongs to a 4-year-old baby girl.
He said that the skull correspond to those found in Lebanon, Cyprus and Anatolia (Turkey).
A well-known anthropologist, Lambert, in 1979 discovered a similar skull in the western Province of Kermanshah.
