In the match held on basketball court of Azadi Sports Complex, the national side defeated its rival 108-53.

The Iranian team is preparing for participation in West Asian contests to start in Jordan on July 10, IRNA reported.

The national teams of Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iran are to compete in Jordan's tournament.

Earlier, the national team of Iran had played another friendly against HOMA on July 5 that had won 67-63.
