TEHRAN -- The Farabi Cinema Foundation announced that 3 Iranian films, ****Daughters of the Sun****, ****Child & Soldier****, and ****Under the Skin of the City**** are taking part in the Films from the South Festival in Denmark.

Selected films from Asia, Africa, and South America are being screened at this festival, which began in Copenhagen on September 14 and will continue till Sept. 23.

Films that have been successful in international cinematic events are allowed to take part in the festival. The film ****Daughters of the Sun****, directed by Maryam Shahryar, won the best film prize at the 24th Montreal Film Festival.

****Under Skin of the City****, directed by Rakhshan Bani-E'temad won a prize at the Moscow Film Festival, and ****Child & Soldier**** directed by Seyed Reza Mir Karimi won the Silver Balloon at the Nantes Festival.
