Kevin B. Rollins President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin B. Rollins serves as president and chief operating officer of Dell. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day global operations of the company and, with CEO Michael Dell, sets the company's strategic direction. Before becoming president and COO in March 2001, Mr. Rollins held the title of vice chairman of Dell, and prior to that, he was president of Dell Americas, managing all company operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. During his tenure at Dell, the company has seen its most dramatic growth, with revenues increasing from $5 billion to $31 billion in five years.

Before joining Dell in 1996, Mr. Rollins served as a vice president and partner of Bain & Co.

management consultants, specializing in corporate strategy and management for high-tech and consumer product firms. While with Bain, he helped to develop strategies around the direct selling of computer systems and services that propelled Dell into its current global leadership position.

Mr. Rollins earned his masters of business administration and bachelors degrees from Brigham Young University and remains an active supporter of the school. He serves on the President's Leadership Council and sits on the university's Marriott School National Advisory Council where he founded and continues to sponsor the Rollins Center for E-commerce.

In addition, Mr. Rollins holds a number of positions with charitable and community organizations. He is the High Tech Chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; a member of the Board of Trustees for Arts Center Stage; and member of the Boards of Directors for the Austin Symphony and PBS affiliate KLRU.
