1st Wind Turbine Manufacturing Plant Opens in the Middle East

TEHRAN- The first wind turbine factory for manufacturing blades and also related equipment was officially inaugurated in the Middle East in presence of ministers of energy and industries and mines, the Public Relations Dept. of Sadid Saba Niroo Company mentioned. The managing director of Sadid Saba Niroo Company, Eng. Qazi Mir-Saeid said: "Presently, different countries install wind power plants for electricity generation due to economical aspect in using fossilized fuel and also anti-pollution system."
Design, engineering and manufacturing wind turbines up to 750 KW and installation of related and auxiliary equipment, commissioning and maintenance as well as supervising importation of equipment needed for wind turbines, all of the aforementioned are the main activities of Sadid Saba Niroo Company.
It should be mentioned that construction operations for 143 wind turbines with 90 MW capacity are underway in Sadid Saba Niroo Company, adding that number of 20 contractors, institutes, reliable universities such as Sharif University of Technology have direct technical and scientific cooperation with the aforementioned company.
