TEHRAN -- “The Last Queen of the Earth”, an Iranian film highlighting the tribulations of Afghan refugees, is scheduled to be screened at the Fukuoka International Film Festival.

Directed by Mohammadreza Arab, the film will have three screenings during the festival, which is currently underway in the southwestern Japanese city.
The event is focusing on the Asian motion picture industry and will run until September 24.
---------Asma-ul-Husna exhibit to open today at IAF
TEHRAN -- The third edition of the exhibition entitled Asma-ul-Husna (names and attributes of Almighty Allah) opens today at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF).
Ninety works have been put on display until September 27 at the venue which is located on Musavi St., Taleqani Ave.
The exhibit is cosponsored by www.todayposter.com, the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO), and the Art and Cultural Department of Tehran’s Municipality.
-----------Vienna to host Conference of Iranian Studies
TEHRAN -- The 6th Conference of Iranian Studies is to be held in Vienna from September 18 until 22 at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Oesterreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften) and several other locations in the vicinity.
A total of 282 experts from all over the world have been invited to the conference, 90 of whom are Iranian.
Over 150 essays, covering many fields including culture, history, civilization, language and philosophy are to be presented at the conference
