Cabinet allocates $5b for private sector manufacturers

TEHRAN, June 30 (MNA) – Iran’s cabinet of ministers endorsed a proposal of the Ministry of Industries and Mines to provide the private sector manufacturers with 5 billion rials in order to support them against the growing trend of raw materials global prices.
The decision made by the cabinet in its session dated June 22 with the aim of curbing the negative upshots of oil price hike over global economy and the rise of raw materials prices consequently.Based on the decision, users will not be allowed to change the sums into rials.
Eligible applicants will be introduced to the acting banks by the related executive bodies upon approval of the cabinet’s economic commission and provided that they had not any outstanding debts either in foreign currency or rials.
This decision was circulated on June 29 by the First Vice President Parviz Davoodi.
