Iran finishes third in Asian Archery Grand Prix

TEHRAN -- Iran finished in third place of men’s compound in the third Asian Archery Grand Prix in Manila, the Philippines, on Wednesday.
Iran failed to reach the final round after a narrow loss to Vietnam 226-228. The team defeated Malaysia 225-118 and took the bronze medal of the tourney.Over 150 archers from 16 teams participated in both recurve and compound from October 25 to 31 in the competitions. The participant countries are North Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, India, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the host the Philippines.
