Ohuruogu withdraws from Super 8

Olympic gold medalist Christine Ohuruogu has withdrawn from the inaugural Super 8 competition in Cardiff due to a schedule mix-up.

Ohuruogu, 400m champion at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will now race at the Montreuil meeting on the outskirts of Paris on Thursday.
Fellow Olympic star Kelly Sotherton may also pull out of the new event.
UK Athletics are in negotiations with Sotherton's agent in a last-ditch bid for the heptathlete to compete.
Sotherton, the Commonwealth champion and Olympic bronze medalist at the 2004 Athens Games, was due to skipper the Birmingham team but her name was omitted from the team-sheet.
UK Athletics have confirmed Sotherton's Super 8 appearance is in doubt but hope that one of the biggest names in British athletics will star in Cardiff.
Ohuruogu was due to skipper London North in the action-packed, two-hour contest on 10 June - which is modeled on Twenty20 cricket - before her withdrawal.
Three-time Olympian Christian Malcolm will lead the home-town team Cardiff while Olympic medalist Tasha Danvers will captain the London South team.
