Iran loses to Cuba in FIVB Junior World Championship

PUNE, India - Iran lost to powerhouse Cuba in Pool F of the 2009 FIVB Men’s Junior Volleyball World Championship in Pune, India on Tuesday.

Iran, who was beaten by Cuba 3-2 in the previous edition in Morocco, was defeated again, this time 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-22).
Iran will play Brazil on Wednesday and is scheduled to play the U.S. on Thursday.
The Persians won the bronze medal in the 2007.
India (host), Belgium, Russia and Argentina are in Pool E
