Mohammad Bana shortlisted for Iran’s Greco-Roman coach: official

TEHRAN – Iran’s Wrestling Federation spokesman Alireza Rezaei said that Mohammad Bana is a strong candidate for heading Iran’s Greco-Roman team.
“Bana has written his plans to take charge of the Greco-Roman wrestling team. He is a strong candidate to be appointed as head coach. If the things don’t go well, we will negotiate with the other candidates,” Rezaei added.Bana quit his job after the 2012 Olympic Games, where the Iranian team made history winning the first ever title.
Iran wrestling team claimed three gold medals in the event.
Defending-champion Iran came fourth in the 2015 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships held in Las Vegas, the U.S. in September.
