TEHRAN – Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili, the commander of Khatam al-Anbiya military base, has said Iran will give a crushing response if it is attacked by any country.

If the enemy thinks of attacking Iran, the Islamic Republic will respond to them from the land, sea and air, Esmaeili told worshipers in Tehran on Friday.

He went on to say that Iran has made great progress in military sphere, saying the domestically-manufactured radar system would be one of those examples which could detect military movements taking place far away from Iran’s borders.

The commander also said the country’s middle-range missile system can be used in asymmetrical warfare as well as aerial battles, adding Iran is also designing an advanced intelligence network.
