Iran stunned by Poland at Kabaddi World Cup

Iran suffered a 41-25 loss to Poland in a Group `B’ match of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup at the TransStadia on Monday.

Skipper Michal Spiczko scored 12 points as Poland completed the competition with 11 points from five matches.

If Thailand beat Japan in its last game of Group B, they will top the table and Iran could end up playing Republic of Korea in the semi-final.

In a Group`A’ match Bangladesh pummeled Australia 80-8.

The third edition of the Kabaddi World Cup has brought two-time defending champion India, two-time finalist Iran, twice third-place finisher Bangladesh, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, England, Kenya, Poland, USA, Argentina and Australia together in Ahmadabad, India.
