TEHRAN – The representative of the Assyrians at the Majlis on Tuesday said religious minorities in Iran enjoy complete freedom.
Speaking in a local gathering of the Islamic Human Rights Commission on Human Rights Day, Yonatan Betkolia said the freedoms are to such an extent that they are not comparable with any other country, IRNA reported.
In a country where different religious and ethnic groups are living together peacefully, unity will cement diverse groups, he remarked.
