TEHRAN – The secretary general of the Islamic Society of Engineers has said “returning to the pre-JCPOA era will never come off table for Iran,” Mehr reported.

The remarks by Mohammad Reza Bahonar came on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump said “nothing is off the table” in terms of a response to Iran’s recent ballistic missile test.

Trump made the comment on Thursday in response to a question by a reporter about whether he would consider military options to respond to Iran.
