TEHRAN – Iran’s Foreign Ministry has donated 50,000 books to the National Library of Iran.

The Foreign Ministry started the process of donating the books to the National Library in October upon the efforts of experts in this field, IRNA reported on Sunday.

The books are worth 18,229,500,000 rials (nearly $430,000) that include fiction and non-fiction.

Last year, the National Library named the Foreign Ministry library the top book donor of the year for its huge contributions.
