"Two Women", "Color of God" to Be Screened in Canada, Switzerland

TEHRAN -- Two Iranian films "Two Women" and "The Color of God" will be screened in Canada and Switzerland in the near future, said Farabi Cinematic Foundation on Saturday. The film "Two Women" by Tahmineh Milani is to be screened at the 23rd Montreal International Film Festival in Canada from August 27 to September 6 and at a World Film Festival in Geneva, Switzerland, from September 20-26. The Iranian film "The Color of God" by Majid Majidi is to be shown at the competition section of the Swiss Festival along with 19 films from 16 countries.

Moreover, the film "You Have Done a Difficult Job to Come Alive" by Mostafa Al-e Ahmad is to be at the Tomorrow Cinema Section of Montreal Film Festival. The film "Two Women" had already managed to win Crystal Phoenix of the 17th International Fajr Film Festival for its film scrips, which was recognized as the best, and won top prize of Italian Taormina Film Festival for its best actress, Niki Karimi. The film "Color of God" has already received the Crystal Phoenix for the best film from the International Fajr Film Festival. Farabi Cinematic Foundation has given the license for broadcast of the film "Two Women" to Australian S.B.S. TV Network and to Scandinavian Dian Internet Networks. Talks are underway to offer the license for screening of the film in Italy and the U.S.
